Layered Love Cares exists to support NICU families during the most isolating season of their lives — because I’ve lived it.
Why This Mission Matters
In 2013, my daughter was born three months premature. We spent 10 months living in the NICU — the most isolating, exhausting, and terrifying season of my life.
I know what it’s like to sleep in a hospital chair. To pump every three hours. To wonder if your baby will make it. To feel completely alone.
That’s why Layered Love Cares exists.
For every 10 items of gourmet pudding or oatmeal cream pies sold, we donate a thoughtfully curated care package to a NICU family through our hospital and community partners in Charlotte.
