Why This Mission Matters
In 2013, my daughter was born three months premature. We spent 10 months living in the NICU—the most isolating, exhausting, terrifying season of my life.
I know what it's like to sleep in a hospital chair. To pump every three hours. To wonder if your baby will make it. To feel completely alone.
That's why Layered Love Cares exists.
For every 10 items of gourmet pudding or oatmeal cream pie sold, I personally deliver a care package to a NICU family at one of our partner hospitals in Charlotte. Each package includes:
- ✨ Comfort items (cozy socks, chapstick, hand lotion)
- 🍽️ Gift cards for meals or coffee
- 💜 A handwritten note: "I've been there. You're not alone."
Because no family should walk through the NICU without support.
